Thursday Bike


Winter (September to April)

During the winter months the Thursday bike session is a spin class at Nuffield Health Center. This is suitable for all abilities and there is no need to be a member of the gym, just pay £2 to the instructor. It's advisable to bring a bottle of water and a towel.


Summer (May to August)

During the summer months the Thursday bike sessions alternate between:

  1. Bike interval sessions in Richmond Park, we meet at 7pm by Roehampton Gate Cafe
  2. A brick session at Nuffield Health Center, spin session as usual followed by a short run

The Richmond Park sessions are suitable for all abilities and will involve a warm up lap following by a specific drill session. The sessions cover a mix of intervals, hills and technique drills, all designed to improve your group riding skills, speed, power, climbing ability and bike handling. Please bring a watch to these sessions to help with timing, and lights for the journey home.

Note: the warm up lap starts from Roehampton cafe and will always ride clockwise, if you are running slightly late cycle anti-clockwise to meet us.
