Who can join?
With more than 1,200 members, there's a place for everyone in the Clapham Chasers - the club prides itself on being a sociable, inclusive and ambitious environment for members of all abilities.
Want to try before you buy?
New starters are welcome to come along to meet us and try out a cycling or a running club session before joining.
- For running, starting in October, please come along early (7pm) to either Monday Social Run or Thursday tempo. You'll be given an intro into the club and then join the main session in whichever pace group you choose
- For cycling intervals (Tuesday evening or Thursday morning in Richmond Park) please contact us via email@example.com
With covid restrictions in place we will ask you to book a slot, provide contact details and agree to our covid-secure session terms.
If you decide that we are the club for you, then follow the links to join the club here.
How much does membership cost?
Two levels of membership are available depending on whether or not you choose to affiliate with England Athletics (EA) which is the governing body for athletics in England.
The annual cost of membership is £39 with EA affiliation, or £23 without it.
For further information to help you decide if you'd like to affiliate with EA, we've got more info here.
Please Note: If you choose Membership with EA Affiliation, then we provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, among other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with England Athletics, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
